DOOX OF YALE

The year was 1952. The crime? Theft and betrayal.
One Basil "Duke" Henning, then-"master" of Saybrook College and former Whiffenpoof, stole an arrangement from the "Whiffs" and presented it to four of his eager first-years. Thus, a group known as The Duke's Men were born. The Evolution Over the past 65 years, "Da Doox" have grown from a young quartet into a rowdy and incredibly close family of more than 400 singers.

In keeping with our goals to create music that reflects our community, we now invite all singers, regardless of sex or gender identity, to join us in the years ahead. And beginning in 2018, the group's name has changed to reflect the group's gender makeup.
